Andy Schcolnik, The Granite Source was
initially created to supply Mr. Schcolnik’s own
developments with a reliable and moderately priced
source of
stone.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina,
and holding a Master’s degree in architecture from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Mr.
Schcolnik, while looking for dependable granite
subcontractors, realized that his native country
was a world class producer of granite.
He subsequently
identified granite quarries in Argentina and
Brazil, that produced attractive stones of beautiful
colors
and patterns.
The stones that are available
to you today through The Granite Source are the
result
of strong partnership relationships with international
quarry owners and producers of granite from
all over the world.
The Granite Source subcontractors for
bouth union and nonunion companies, as well as small contractors
